Classes

Seven levels of teaching during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and two morning all level classes on Monday followed by a dancing Brunch until 6pm.

Descrption of the levels:

Cub Level  (Saturday and Sunday at école des Planches, 2 rue Mozart):

You’ve never danced Lindy Hop before. There will be a few hours of teaching at this level during the week end (the detailed schedule will be available on-line two weeks before the festival).
You can register for this level only on the day of the course. The registration will not include the evening parties.

Snowflake level :

For the beginners who started in September/October 2019. You’ve had several months of lessons and you’ve studied Swing Out and 6-counts moves. Classes of this level will be given in French by French teachers. The level consists of 4h30 of classes, 1 hour of taster and includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday parties. It is also subject to a special price.

1st Star level :

You master Swing out and several variations, side to side and tandem Charleston and a bunch of 6-counts moves. The level consists of 7h30 of classes, 1 hour of taster and includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday parties.

2nd Star level :

You master the dance, socially dance regularly and start visiting other cities in France, Europe and the World for workshops from time to time. The level consists of 7h30 of classes, 1 hour of taster and includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday parties.

3rd Star, 4th Star and Golden Star levels :

You are a hardcore lindy hopper. You travel often to improve yourself and meet teachers and Swing bands. You might even be teaching. Teachers from the festival will be able to use your knowledge in order to push back your limits. Those 3 levels will be split during an audition in order to create 3 homogeneous levels. Each level consists of 7h30 of classes, 1 hour of taster and includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday parties.
